BOOKING CONDITIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS- please read carefully

We are very aware of our guests concerns for making holiday plans in the short term.  This is why we have adjusted our terms and conditions for stays over the next 12 months as Western Australia moves into its new transition phase throughout 2022.

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY

Valid from 24 October 2022

BOOKING REQUEST and PAYMENT
To place the booking a credit card number is required and a deposit, being the first night's accommodation, will be charged to your card.
Your booking REQUEST will be reviewed and approved personally by the owner.

The full amount is due 30 days prior to arrival and will be charged to the credit card provided on your reservation.

CANCELLATIONS and AMENDMENTS*
The deposit/payment is fully refundable should you cancel or amend your booking more than 30 days prior to arrival, minus a $50 booking fee.

Your booking is non-refundable if cancelled/amended 30 days or less prior to arrival, however, if we are able to re-book the property for the dates held for you (or part thereof), we will refund monies for the days rebooked.

We recommend that guests take out comprehensive holiday cancellation and protection insurance with a reputable insurance company to cater for any unforeseen circumstances including covid related cover.

* Amendments are considered as a cancellation.

CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR and SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS

The full amount is payable 3 months prior to arrival and will be charged to the credit card provided on your reservation.

The deposit/payment is fully refundable should you cancel or amend your booking more than 60 days prior to arrival, minus a $50 booking fee.

Your booking is non-refundable if cancelled/amended 60 days or less prior to arrival, however, if we are able to re-book the property for the dates held for you, we will refund monies for the days rebooked.

COVID-19 POLICY

Revised as at 24 April 2022

The Roozen Residence supports all Government mandates in reference to COVID19, and respectfully requests all guests staying at the property to be double vaccinated.

If you require to extend your stay as a result of a Covid positive test result, subject to availability, all accommodation costs and charges (including deep cleaning after checkout) are required to be paid in full, once your request is confirmed.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

SIZE OF PARTY / MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS
The maximum number of guests must not exceed 6 people.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE PARTIES, FUNCTIONS or SOCIAL GATHERINGS PERMITTED IN THE HOUSE.
The number of guests occupying the property for the holiday must not exceed the number specified on the Booking Form.  If for any reason there is a change to the number of guests occupying the property, the owner or Booking Agent must be informed immediately. If approval is given for a change in the number of guests, an additional charge will be payable for each extra guest.  In the event that this clause is breached, the owners reserve the right to evict all tenants immediately and payment will be forfeited.   

BOND/SECURITY AND THE GUESTS RESPONSIBILITY
Guests are expected to look after and take all reasonable care of the property and all the furnishings and equipment included in the property and to observe the “No Smoking Inside” requirement for the duration of the holiday. It is the responsibility of the guests to ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked and that the property is left in a clean and tidy state at the end of the holiday. Any faults, damages or breakages must be reported to the Owner, Booking Agent or a representative of the booking agent as soon as possible.

GUESTS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY BREAKAGES OR DAMAGES CAUSED TO THE PROPERTY DURING THE GUEST’S HOLIDAY OCCUPATION AND ALL COSTS OF REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT SHALL BE PAYABLE UPON DEMAND TO THE OWNER OR BOOKING AGENT.   IN THE EVENT THAT THE PROPERTY IS NOT LEFT CLEAN AND TIDY THE GUEST WILL BE LIABLE FOR THE COST OF EXCESS CLEANING WHICH WILL BE CHARGED WITHOUT NOTICE TO THE CREDIT CARD PROVIDED AT A RATE OF $40 PER HOUR.

TERMINATION OF BOOKING
The owner and/or booking agent reserves the right to terminate the booking at any time.   Unfortunately, as all booking channels do not operate in unison, there is a small chance that a double booking may occur. In the unlikely event of a double booking or travel restrictions enforced by the WA Government, it is at the owner's discretion which booking request will be approved/cancelled.

DECLARATION & AGREEMENT
I hereby acknowledge that I am the guest named on the Booking Form and that I am over the age of 18 years of age and that all information provided herein is true and correct.
I FURTHER AGREE THAT THE STATED CONDITIONS WILL APPLY TO THIS BOOKING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BOOKING CONDITIONS AND I AGREE TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL CHARGES DUE AND PAYABLE ON THIS BOOKING AND ANY DAMAGES THAT MAY OCCUR OR EXCESS CLEANING AS REQUIRED WILL BE CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD.

You therefore agree to supply your credit card details as bond/security and in doing so acknowledge you have read, understood and accepted the above booking conditions.
