Whale Watching

An estimated 35,000 whales migrate from the Antarctic to our warmer waters during the region’s 6 month whale watching season. Wildflowers

The Margaret River region comes alive with over 2,500 species of wildflowers each Spring. From August to November you will be truly amazed at the intensity and variety, seeing wildflowers along coastal walking tracks, rivers, forests and caves.

 

Cape to Cape MTB

The biggest MTB endurance race in Australia, the Cape to Cape MTB, is on from the 19th – 22 October. An epic four days of activities have been planned with four special stages designed to incorporate the best trails used over the past 10 years of the event.

Margaret River Gourmet Escape

This international event is on again, 16 – 19 November 2017, with a stellar line up of some of the world’s best chefs and sommeliers. A 4 day extravaganza will showcase over 50 events throughout the Margaret River wine region ensuring there is something for everyone.
